Zurii Advisory ("Zurii," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission's (NDPC) General Application and Implementation Directive. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Zurii Advisory is an ESG, sustainability, climate, carbon management, HSE and management-systems advisory firm operating in Nigeria. For any question about this notice or how your data is handled, you can reach us at contact@zuriiadvisory.com.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect personal data directly from you when you voluntarily submit it — through the contact form and, if you choose to request a follow-up after completing the readiness assessment, the assessment follow-up form. In the latter case we also receive your assessment result (score, strongest area, priority gap and category scores). That may include:
- Full name
- Organization name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- The area of interest, service need and preferred contact method you select
- Any details you choose to share about your organization or challenge in the message field
We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric or financial account information) through this website, and we ask that you do not include such details in the contact form.
3. How we use your data
We process the personal data you submit for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry and correspond with you about our services
- To assess and scope potential advisory engagements
- To maintain a record of client and prospective client communications
- To comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations
Our legal basis for this processing is your consent, given by voluntarily submitting the contact form or ticking the consent box on the assessment follow-up form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries directed to us.
4. How your data is stored and who has access to it
Messages submitted through our contact form and assessment follow-up form are transmitted via our website hosting provider's form-handling service and delivered to Zurii's business email. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties. Your data may be accessible to:
- Authorized Zurii personnel who need it to respond to your inquiry
- Our website hosting and infrastructure providers, solely as data processors delivering the form submission to us
We retain contact-form submissions only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations, after which the data is deleted or anonymized.
5. Analytics
This site may use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. It reports only aggregate, anonymized traffic statistics (such as page views and general location by country). See our Cookie Notice for more detail.
6. Your rights under the NDPA 2023
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your personal data is processed
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your personal data, where applicable
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal
- Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if you believe your data has been mishandled
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@zuriiadvisory.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in line with NDPA requirements.
7. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data submitted through this website against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's data
This website and our services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
